Assalamu Alaikum Waraghmatulaahi Wabarakatu

I greet you with the universal greeting of peace

While cleaning up my pc today I stumbled upon this!

What I know for sure

One of my realizations during a profound moment of grief after my mother’s passing

There are no short cuts in life. It can make you bitter or it can make you better. You will always wish for more or for something different. You will have many people in your life labeled as friends but very few will be true friends. You should allow people to be people and though it may sometimes feel like a very big conspiracy against you it really is just life unfolding and it’s not always all about you. People who want to be in your life will be the rest will make excuses. It’s not a race to see who wins the most or has the most or owns the most. And it certainly is not about who is the biggest. The abundant value is sometimes in the smallest most insignificant acts and gestures. Cherish the people who you can truly talk to, the ones who understand and listen without judgment and who can stand by your side in love and compassion. They are the keepers. Do good to others, be kind for kindness is love in motion and that costs nothing. Make sure that the armor you wear for protection does not become who you are and understand that who you are in your essence is the best you can be and your biggest gift to the world and mankind. Life will happen. Events will occur. To you it might be epic and to others it may have no significance but if you can navigate your way through life and not loose who you are then you have achieved the greatest success anyone could ever hope to achieve!

Shukran for reading, until next time.
